Francis was born 27th June 1874 at number 5 Belgrave Road, Longton, and married on
the 10th Oct 1897 at St. John the Baptist Church , Longton (Photo) to Elizabeth Hulme, he was
a pottery placer at Cartwright and Edwards, Longton, Elizabeth was born on the 23rd Nov 1873 in
Caverswall, Staffordshire. They had eight children the last Harriet was my mother. Francis died
16 December 1945 in Goldenhill Road, Fenton of prostate cancer and is buried with Elizabeth and
Pemella (wife of James) in Longton cemetery.
